The Met HD Festival Runs August 23 - Sept 2

The Met's 15th Summer HD Festival will be screening nightly from August 23 to September 2, 2024. There will be 3,000 seats set up in front of The Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center. Additionally, a standing room area will be designated around Lincoln Center Plaza. The Met's HD Festival presentation will include full open captions. Ten performances plus a special screening of the Oscar winning film The Red Violin, co-presented by Film at Lincoln Center are part of the programmed evenings. The Red Violin will be the first evening on Friday, August 23 at 8pm.

Screenings will go on as planned in the case of rain. If thunder and lighting or high wind is in the forecast, then the screening will be canceled. Canceled screenings will not be rescheduled.
