Inwood Film Festival Filmmaker Fund was created to financially support filmmakers and encourage the creation of cinema in the Inwood NYC community. Filmmakers who reside in the Inwood community are eligible to apply and receive a grant up to five thousand dollars for film project expenses incurred between Jan 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.

The Inwood NYC community are the NYC neighborhoods of Inwood, Washington Heights, Marble Hill, Kingsbridge and Riverdale. It is not required to be the focus of a project, but locally based stories with cultural relevance or historical associates, or geographical significance will be given preference.

Submissions are now open. The deadline to submit is September 30, 2024. Grantees will be notified on December 1, 2024 with funds distributed to the filmmaker on December 31, 2024.
