Documentary Editors Share Process @ Free Panel

"Editing Life: A Conversation with Female Documentary Editors" is a free and open to the public panel that will be held Saturday afternoon from 2:00pm-3:30pm on March 22, 2014. (NYFVC members get a free drink ticket.) The discussion is presented by the New York Film/Video Council. The discussion will center on the art and craft of documentary editing.
"Participating editors include Mary Lampson (Harlan County USA, Trouble the Water) Penelope Falk (Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, Maidentrip), Geeta Gandbhir (When the Levees Broke, Which Way Is The Front Line From Here?) and Lynn True (Summer Pasture, Lumo)." per a release from the NYFVC. Editors will show clips of their work to further illustrate the process of editing showing how the collaborative editor position can shape a story.
