During the New York Television Festival, a very informative panel took place about writing for late night comedy shows. The panel "Long Days Journey Into Late Night" took place on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at SVA Theatre.

On the panel were The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon head writer A.D. Miles, The Colbert Report head writer Barry Julien, Late Night with David Letterman head writer Matt Roberts, and the moderator was SNL alum Rachel Dratch.
