NYU News & Doc Film Festival is This Weekend

NYU News & Doc Film Festival runs Friday, February 6th and Saturday, February 7th. NYU Master's students will be on hand for Q&A's following every screening.
The festival opens with a keynote welcome message by Sharon Badal, the Shorts Programmer at the Tribeca Film Festival, at 6pm on Friday. The student films are listed below in the order they will be screened.
6:30pm - Just to be Together directed by Ali Withers 7:05pm - Still Human directed by Solomon Moriba 7:50pm - Lily & I directed by Robie Flores 8:35pm - Hire Me directed by Chiara Norbitz 9:05pm - Lost and Found directed by Ryan S. Porush
The festival screenings continue on Saturday as follows:
12:00pm - Latter Gay-Saints directed by Brittany Knotts 12:35pm - Bad Blood directed by Rialda Zukic 1:20pm - In All Fairness directed by Richa Sanwal 1:55pm - School of Yoga directed by Contessa Gayles 2:55pm - Aging Out directed by Xin Liu 3:45pm - Hiding Out and Holding On directed by Yalda Mostajeran 4:25pm - The Border directed by Tatyana Christikova 5:10pm - Rootless directed by Alice Xue Yu 5:50pm - The Trouble with Innocence directed by Yamiche Alcindor 6:45pm - Fairy Tales directed by Rongfei Guo
The festival concludes with a reception at 7:35pm. The entire festival takes place at 19 University Place on the NYU campus. All screenings are free, but they ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to each screening. For more information on each film and director, please go to newsdocfilmfest.com.
