Keith Miller's Five Star premiered at Tribeca in 2014 and made a lengthy festival run through spring 2015. The Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective member had his feature film release at IFC Center and it is now available online through iTunes, Amazon, and Vudu.
As an added bonus to movie goers, this New York story about adulthood and ganghood is having a complimentary screening through the fledgling Alfreda's Cinema. Alfreda's Cinema is a monthly screening series out of Videology in Williamsburg. Alfreda's is trying to bring attention to local filmmakers with a focus on people of color.
Five Star is screening on Monday, September 28th at 7pm. Videology is located at 308 Bedford Avenue at the corner of S 1st Street. Again, the screening is free. Director Keith Miller will be present for a Q&A as well. Please RSVP.
