Big Apple Film Festival Opens with James Caan
The Big Apple Film Festival, now in its 12th year, runs November 4-7. Founder and Director Jonathan Marc Lipp has been able to pull in some big names to the festival. The same holds true this year.
Actor James Caan will be honored with the Golden Apple Award on opening night following the screening of Sicilian Vampire. Caan is known for his work in El Dorado, Brian's Song, The Godfather, The Gambler, Funny Lady, Rollerball, Misery, the TV show Las Vegas, and now Sicilian Vampire.
Previously held at Tribeca Cinemas which has since closed, Big Apple Film Festival is now being held at Village East Cinemas.
