NY Korean Film Festival is Nov 6-11 @ Moving Image

The New York Korean Film Festival will celebrate 13 years and a new partnership with the Museum of Moving Image. The festival is set to open November 6th and run through the 11th. This year's fest is a collaboration of The Korea Society, Museum of the Moving Image, and Subway Cinema. Set to screen five New York premieres and one international premiere, the schedule highlights the talent of the Korean peninsula.
The Korea Society welcomes director Ryoo Seung-Wan, Shin Suwon, Lee Do-yun, Kang Hyo-jin, Oh Seung-uk, and Hong Won-chan. Producers Kang Hye-jung and Park Jung are also on the guest list along with actress Koh Ah-Sung. The opening night film "Office" will be a New York premiere November 6, 2015 at 6:30p.m. The premiere will include Director Hong Won-chan and star Ko Ah-sung in person, followed by a reception in the lobby cafe of the museum.
The Museum of Moving Image is located at 36-01 35th Avenue, Queens. Subway R/M at Steinway and N/Q at 36 Ave are the trains to the event. Parking is available at 34-11 Steinway Street with the entrance on 41 Street. For more information on the festival schedule, go to www.koreanfilmfestival.org.
