Sparrow Film Project adds Mixers and Education
The Spring Edition 13 of Sparrow Film Project is starting with mixers and an education series. The Sparrow Film Project is a filmmaking competition where teams make a 3 minute film in 3 weeks with an assignment given to their team.
In order to include more of the community in the project, mixers are scheduled to facilitate team creation. For example, there may be writers who are looking for actors, actors looking for filmmakers, filmmaker teams wanting to find the people needed to make your film. In order to accommodate different schedules, two mixer dates have been created with two time slots per evening.
Monday, March 7: 8:00pm-10:00pm and 1:00am-3:00am
Monday, March 14: 8:00pm-10:00pm and 1:00am-3:00am
While at the mixers, look for Sparrow Project Producer Mike Free behind the bar to navigate the room for fellow team mates.
The Sparrow Film Project is also adding an Education Series to "bring filmmakers together to share knowledge and experience to better the craft of all involved." The series will be held at the Q.E.D. on Sunday, March 13 from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
Teams can sign up for the 13th edition of The Sparrow Film Project on March 20, 2016 at the Sparrow Tavern starting at 9:00pm. Team registration closes at midnight at which time the assignments will be announced at the Sparrow Tavern. For those teams who cannot attend the March 20 team sign-up in-person, they can still receive an assignment by registering at the Sparrow Film Project website. www.sparrowfilmproject.com
