Williamsburg Independent Film Festival opens with Shoot Me Nicely and Writer's Block

The 7th Annual Williamsburg Independent Film Festival is November 17-20, 2016. The festival received over 200 entries from 25 countries. The co-director and co-founder of the festival stated, "We have a great mixture of emerging and established filmmakers, as well as a great group from Brooklyn and Williamsburg."
The Wythe Hotel located at 80 Wythe Avenue at N. 11th Street will be the venue for the festival. Elias Plagianos directs Linda Hamilton in the opening night film, SHOOT ME NICELY. Members of the cast and crew plan to attend the premiere. The festival will also highlight the film WRITER'S BLOCK written by Carol Leifer starring Jane Lynch and Andy Kindler. Lynch was recognized at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival as best actress for her role. Lynch and Leifer will be at the festival on November 17 at the 9pm screening.
Six Love Stories will also have cast and crew present for the film whose six couples from six areas of LA connect. Director Micheal Dunway describes it as Love Actually meets Magnolia.
