John Leguizamo Leguizamo Performs Latin History for Morons (released 2/21/2017) By Kimberly Burke Latin History for Morons opens February 24th with an 8pm performance. New York Ambassador John Leguizamo developed this one man 90 minute adventure when his son's history schoolwork did not reflect Latino figures in the narrative. From the Mayans to Ricki Ricardo, the Artistic Director of Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Tony Taccone directs the show. The Public Theater located at 425 Lafayette Street in Manhattan will house the show through April. A benefit performance will take place March 22nd with an intimate dinner with the Writer/Actor Leguizamo and Director Taccone.
