30 Year Anniversary of Spike Lee's School Daze

This is the 30th anniversary of School Daze and to celebrate, BAM is holding a screening including an introduction with the director Spike Lee. The screening is Sunday, February 11th at 7pm.
Ticket sales were announced on Spike Lee's Instagram account on January 24 and sold out the next day.
School Daze came out February 12, 1988 and in just his second feature film, Lee was able to get stars such as Laurence Fishburne, Ossie Davis, Tisha Campbell, Kadeem Hardison, and Giancarlo Esposito. Lee also played a role in School Daze, which was a hallmark of his early films.
The screening will take place at the Peter Jay Sharp Building at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which is located at 30 Lafayette Avenue in 40 Acres and a Mule's backyard, Fort Greene.
