Central Park Five Panel and Screening

There is a screening and panel discussion on Saturday afternoon, February 10 at 3p.m. of the Ken Burns-directed "The Central Park Five" at the Museum of Moving Image in Astoria, Queens. The documentary looks to the notorious 1989 case of five black and Latino men who were convicted of rape. The teens at the time spent between six and thirteen years incarcerated until a serial rapist confessed to the crime.

The screening is 120 minutes and will be followed by a live panel discussion moderated by Saiku Branch of The Afrikan Poetry Theatre. The panel members include:
