Teen Producers Academy Showcase took place August 24, 2018 at the Maysles Documentary Center. Screenings of the teens' films was preceded by a dinner and followed by a Q and A session and certificate presentation to the students.
A reception of refreshments concluded the evening in Harlem.
The instructors for the teen academy Art Jones and Nakia Harper led the teams to a final projected film.

The Teen Producers Academy is part of the Maysles Documentary Center's educational programming. The year long TPA program will be enrolling in September for the upcoming 2018-2019 cycle. The program is open to students in the sophomore through senior years of high school, local to the NYC area, and interested in the documentary filmmaking process.
