2nd Kit Noir Film Festival is March 27-31

Columbia University School of the Arts will be holding the 2nd annual Dr. Saul and Dorothy Kit Film Noir Festival March 27-31, 2019. Many of the films will screen in 35mm.  The festival will present 12 adaptations of Cornell Woolrich's fiction featuring the following films:

Black Angel (Neill, 1946)
The Bride Wore Black (Truffaut, 1968)
The Chase (Ripley, 1946)
Deadline at Dawn (Clurman, 1946)
Fall Guy (Le Borg, 1947)
"Four O'Clock" (Hitchcock, 1957)
The Guilty (Reinhardt, 1947)
The Leopard Man (Tourneur, 1943)
Nightmare (Shane, 1956)
Rear Window (Hitchcock, 1954)
The Return of the Whistler (Lederman, 1948)
The Window (Tetzlaff, 1949)

The festival is being held at Lensfest Center for the Arts located at 615 West 129th Street between Broadway and 12th avenue. Screenings will include discussions featuring film scholars Ann Douglas, Frank Krutnick, James Naremore, Francis M. Nevins and Pamela Wojcik. All talks will be streamed live for those that cannot attend in person.
