Showtime Billions Shooting on the Upper West Side (released 2/6/2020) By Kimberly Burke Billions has successfully put Seasons 1-4 in the can and are currently filming Season 5. The cast and crew were on the Upper West Side of Manhattan filming for season 5 that is set to premiere on Showtime on May 3 at 9PM ET/PT. The series stars Emmy and Golden Globe winning actors Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis in a drama about the power politics of New York high finance. Giamatti plays attorney Chuck Rhoades and Lewis plays a hedge fund king Bobby "Axe" Axelrod. Both characters are using their intelligence and influence to outmaneuver the other as the stakes are in the... billions. The Red Farm restaurant on the Upper West Side was the location for filming today February 6, 2020. Production trucks were visible on the streets from Broadway to Amsterdam between 77th to 75th Streets to accommodate the scenes being shot inside the restaurant.
