The Oscars were held in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 9, 2020 celebrating 92 years of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science's award show. New York is celebrating the achievements of productions made in New York and created by New Yorkers at this year's award show.

"Hollywood's biggest night put a spotlight on New York City's incredible talent," said NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment Commissioner Anne del Castillo. "We are so proud of all our winners and nominees represented across all the Oscar categories."

The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment also released this list of boastables. The 2020 NYC OSCAR  winners are:

'Made in NY' winners

"JOKER", Hildur Guonadottir - Achievement in Music Written for Motion Picture (Original Score)

New York City based winners

Jeff Reichert - Best Documentary Feature, "AMERICAN FACTORY"

Carol Dysinger - Best Documentary Short Subject, "LEARNING TO SKATEBOARD IN A WARZONE (IF YOU'RE A GIRL)"

Marshall Curry - Best Short Film Live Action, "THE NEIGHBOR”S WINDOW"
