New York Comedy Festival Canceled For 2020

The New York Comedy Festival has been cancelled for 2020. The festival was scheduled for November 9-15, 2020. In a statement on their website, NYCF announced the cancellation. nycomedyfestival.com
Citing current pandemic circumstances and wanting to bring talent and fans together in a safe manner, the decision to cancel was made. Plans for next year are already being discussed and the dates for 2021 will November 81-14, 2021.
The New York Comedy festival is a collaboration with TBS and venues across the city. Venues include: Beacon Theatre, BAM BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, Town Hall as well as others. The festival celebrates comedy in all forms. Programming in past festivals has included panels, radios broadcasts, podcasts, film screenings, improv and sketch comedy. The NYCF has been able to make NY laugh for over 15 years.
