Spielberg Blockbusters at Film Forum

The Film Forum will hold the SPIELBERG Festival of 20 summer blockbusters August 30 - September 12, 2024. Spielberg's theatrical feature directorial debut THE SUGARLAND EXPRESS will run in a new 4K restoration. The film stars Goldie Hawn and is the first collaboration with composer John Williams. Williams scored all but five of Spielberg's films since.

The series of 20 blockbusters will include JAWS, E.T. EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL, JURASSIC PARK,  INDIANA JONES,  RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, A.I. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, SCHINDLER'S LIST and more.

The festival has been programmed by Bruce Goldstein, Film Forum Repertory Artistic Director.
