It premiered at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Friday, October 4. The film stars Julianne Moore as Ingrid a best-selling writer. Ingrid rekindles a relationship with her friend Martha, played by Tilda Swinton, a war journalist she lost touch with a number of years back. The Room Next Door is Pedro Almodóvar's first English-language feature. The film shot in Madrid and New York City last year. The film was picked up by Sony Pictures Classics and is set for a limited release in New York and Los Angeles on December 20, 2024 expanding to select cities on Christmas day. The Centerpiece of the New York Film Festival 62 was the U.S. premiere of Pedro Almodóvar's film The Room Next Door. It premiered at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Friday, October 4.

The film stars Julianne Moore as Ingrid a best-selling writer. Ingrid rekindles a relationship with her friend Martha, played by Tilda Swinton, a war journalist she lost touch with a number of years back.

The Room Next Door is Pedro Almodóvar's first English-language feature. The film shot in Madrid and New York City last year.
