Free Outdoor Screening of Changing Face of Harlem
Creatively Speaking and the Historic Harlem Parks Film Festival will present a free outdoor screening of the documentary, Changing Face of Harlem on Thursday, July 24th.
Beginning at 8pm, entertainment will be provided by jazz musician Jay Rodriguez, who composed music for the film. At 8:45pm, the one hour screening of Changing Face of Harlem begins. It will be followed by a Q&A session with filmmaker, Shawn Batey.
The screening takes place at St. Nicholas Park at 135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue.
Shot over ten years from 2000-2010, Changing Face of Harlem is a documentary that examines the history and transformation of a neighborhood.
