The New York City Independent Film Festival, now in its 17th year, started Monday. It continues through Sunday, June 8th.
This festival is held at the Producers Club in Midtown. The venue is a multiple story building with black box theaters throughout. It harkens back to an older New York. If you haven't been there, go check it out. It is the antithesis of the Regal Union Square or the AMC Lincoln Square. It truly is the perfect venue at the heart of independent film.
