Bowfinger and director Frank Oz will be present on Tuesday, July 15th at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan.
Part of their "For the Love of Cinema" program, this event will present a screening and Q&A with the director. The 1999 film was written by Steve Martin and produced by Brain Grazer. Steve Martin, Heather Graham and Eddie Murphy are actors in the film.
Frank Oz is known for The Muppets, Sesame Street, and being the voice of Yoda in the Star Wars films. He also directed The Dark Crystal, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Little Shop of Horrors, and What About Bob? among others.
The Carole Zabar Center for Film is the house for the evening located at the JCC. The center hopes to create change and impact for the community.
