NBC Universal was on the Upper West Side this week shooting a feature film called One Night Only.  One Night Only is a futuristic story about a society that doesn’t allow premarital sex except one day of the year. This sounds similar to the Purge series of films, but possibly with a comedic twist.

The Director is Will Gluck who recently directed Anyone But You starring breakout stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. He also directed Easy A with Emma Stone and Friends with Benefits starring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. Considering his resume, it's safe to say One Night Only will be a rom-com.

Starring in One Night Only will be Monica Barbaro, who just played Joan Baez in A Complete Unknown opposite Timothée Chalamet. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work.

Also in One Night Only is Callum Turner, who played a lead role in the Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air alongside Austin Butler. Ask the kids about Callum Turner right now and you'll find that he's bigger news for being engaged to superstar singer Dua Lipa.

The production took up locations at Columbus and 82nd on Thursday, Friday, and Monday. Famous Original Ray's Pizza was converted into Claremont Pizza and across the street, Callum made quick work with Columbus Avenue Barber Shop, Rose Wine & Liquor along with Q Florist.
