Jenna and Friends have found a new co-host. In the TODAY's fourth hour, Jenna will now share the screen with Sheinelle Jones. Jones will begin her new role on TODAY with Jenna and Sheinelle on January 12, 2026.

Jones has been a part of the TODAY family since 2014 when she started on Weekend TODAY before joining the weekday broadcasts in 2019. In 2024, she took a leave of absence to care for her husband Uche Ojeh, who died of cancer in May 2025. The anchor returned to TODAY four months later.
