Navigating Filmmaker Support Programs is going to be an online Zoom on Friday, February 27 from 1-2pm. This event is free for The Gotham Film and Media Institute members and $25 for non-members. Learn how to apply and participate in labs, grants, and artist support programs from three major film nonprofits in this one-hour panel workshop.
"Featuring Casey Baron (Tribeca Festival), Masashi Niwano (SFFILM), and Gabriele Capolino (The Gotham), the conversation draws on decades of experience across artist development, funding, and festival ecosystems worldwide. Moderated by Gotham EDU's Yoko Kohmoto, the session will offer insight into how projects are evaluated, what programs are really looking for, and how filmmakers can best position themselves. This workshop is ideal for filmmakers looking to better understand and make the most of the support available to them."
