We Are Pat is a documentary opening Friday, May 29 at the Firehouse Cinema at DCTV. It runs through June 4.

Who is Pat? Pat was a sketch comedy character played by Julia Sweeney on Saturday Night Live back in the 90s. Pat was an androgynous character.

This documentary film shows how comedians and others have created their own versions of Pat and explores the evolution of gender identity and comedy from the 90s through today.

There will be some filmmaker Q&As at a few screenings. As an added bonus, you can get a free ticket if you show up dressed as Pat. Get the details on the DCTV website.
