The Coney Island Film Festival will be September 13-15, 2019. This is the 19th annual iteration and will be held at Sideshows By The Seashore and the Coney Island Museum, both are in part what makes up the historic Brooklyn Neighborhood of Coney Island, NY. The opening night screenings will include a live side show, burlesque and food catered from Gargiulo's, as well as open beer from Coney Island Brewery and wine bar for two hours included in your ticket price.
The Coney Island Film Festival presents quirky shorts and features that depict, but are not limited to, mermaids, sideshow artists and current or former amusement park rides. An annual tradition is a screening of the cult classic film The Warriors. The Saturday Sept 14th screening is a 1979 thriller with a street gang narrative.
