New York Comic Con Is Upon Us

(released 10/5/2022)

It's time for adults to dress up as their favorite anime, sci-fi, and fantasy characters and get photos and autographs from their actual favorite anime, sci-fi, and fantasy characters.  New York Comic Con starts tomorrow and runs through the weekend.

You know the drill.  There's stars from multiple genres and fields, writers, illustrators, cosplayers, and more.

There are two Guests of Honor.  Oscar Isaac and Sebastian Stan will be there. Oscar Isaac is known for a few big titles now.  He's been in Dune, Moon Knight, several Star Wars films and series, Ex Machina, and Inside Llewyn Davis. He is scheduled for 12:15pm on Sunday. Sebastian Stan has played Bucky Barnes in a few Marvel movies as well as Tommy Lee in the Pam & Tommy mini-series. He was recently shooting A Different Man in Manhattan this July. He is scheduled for Friday.

There are many other offerings at NYCC and too many names to list here, but here's a few stars you can expect to see.

Amita Suman (Sandman), Aprili Bowlby (Doom Patrol), Ben Barnes (Shadow and Bone), Boyd Holbrook (Sandman), Brendan Fraser (Doom Patrol, The Mummy, The Whale), Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Dan Harmon (Community), Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter, Weird Al), David Boreanaz (Buffy, Bones), Diane Guerrero (Doom Patrol), Drew Barrymore, Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld), Ice-T, James McAvoy (His Dark Materials, Glass, X-Men), Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween), Joel David Moore (Grandma's Boy), John Leguizamo (John Wick), Martin Kove (Karate Kid, Cobra Kai), Kristen Kreuk (Smallville), Mason Alexander Park (Sandman), Michael J.
