On Saturday, January 28, FROM HERE will screen at the Queens Museum. An RSVP is required and includes the screening and conversation with filmmaker and protagonists. The screening will take place from 2pm - 4pm. The film is set in Berlin and NY capturing a ten year time period where four young people navigate global citizenry and fight for belonging in an era of rising nationalism.
The film will screen in English and have Spanish subtitles. This film is director Christina Antonakos-Wallace's first feature-length documentary. NYC Commission on Human Rights staff will be participating at the event to share resources on protections against discrimination under NYC Human Rights Law in housing, employment, and public accommodations.
