"The Butler" Director Lee Daniels Speaks Tonight

The Film Society of Lincoln Center will continue their Summer Talks series tonight August 15, 2013 with guest speaker Lee Daniels. The event will be open to the public for a 7:00p.m. talk about Daniels' new film "The Butler". Tickets are available on a first come, first serve, limit one per person basis, one hour prior to the presentation @ the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center box office.
Lee Daniels has worked as a casting director, talant manager, become a producer and a director with his feature work including Paperboy and Precious. The Talk series will allow guests to hear first hand about his film "The Butler" starring Forest Whitaker as a White House butler who served through presidents termed from the 1950's to the 1980's. The film also stars Oprah Winfrey, Lenny Kravitz, Robin Williams, and Jane Fonda among many other notable actors. Daniels is also billed as reflecting on his career to date with the audience in attendance.
