In the spirit of the upcoming holiday, you can learn what happens with Christmas trees throughout most of Europe. Most of the trees are grown in Denmark, but they originate in Georgia.
On Friday, December 13th, you can enjoy the documentary Life and Death of a Christmas Tree at the Scandinavia House. Filmmaker Arturas Jevdokimovas will be present to discuss the film. The film is in Georgian, Danish, and Lithuanian with English subtitles.
Scandinavia House is located at 58 Park Avenue in Manhattan. The screening begins at 7pm and tickets are free.
