Marvels of Media: Filmmaking Workshop will be happening at the Museum of Moving Image on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 2:00pm.  From 2-4pm, students with autism will be learning the basic elements of making a short film. Using the fundamentals of filmmaking, participants will plan, film and edit the scene by working in small teams and alternating essential film set roles.  This workshop is recommended for ages 13 and up. No experience is necessary!

Marvels of Media is an ongoing initiative and festival that showcases, celebrates and supports autistic media-makers of all ages and skill sets.  The techniques of storytelling are taught using puppetry for the screen, filmmaking, game design and animation.
