On Thursday, August 14th, Rose de Chine (Rose from China) French Film Screening and Meditation is happening at 7p.m. The film will screen followed with filmmaker conversation and meditation. Cinema Village located at 22 East 12th Street is where it is happening. The film has garnered 20 official selections, 14 nominations and won 12 awards to date.

The story follows Matthieu Mansard grieving the loss of his pregnant wife in a tragic car accident. He has an encounter with a Chinese girl who introduces him to meditation as a way to heal.

The film screens for 33 minutes, a Q&A with the director/cinematographer Hugo Boué will take place as well as an Inner Energy Awakening and Guided Mediation.
