For the next two months the Museum of Moving Image will be sharing THE MAGIC OF OZ: A FRANK OZ RETROSPECTIVE from October 4 - November 30, 2024. Creating characters with his voice, acting in front of the camera, directing from behind the camera, animating through puppetry, his influence in moving image is known.

Museum of Moving Image will screen 15 of his films to celebrate his creations, The Empire Strikes Back (special edition), Inside Out, Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, What about Bob?, Bowfinger, Stepford Wives and more.

On Sunday, October 6 at 3:30pm, Frank Oz will be in-person for a screening of The Muppets Take Manhattan. At 6pm the same day, Frank Oz will be talking with the Muppet guys in-person. On Saturday, November 9, Frank Oz will be with Steve Martin in-person for a screening of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at 5:30pm.
